Connor...

Here is a sneak peek of Connor's two-year pictures! Denae, my favorite photographer, took these. She is so good to go with my crazy ideas (i.e. sneaking onto the Tech football field:) Thank you, Denae! You did fabulous...as always.

4th Picture...

Denae tagged me. Here's how it works:

1. Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on the computer.
2. Select the 4th picture in the folder.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag 4 people to do the same
5. No cheating. (cropping, editing, etc)

Averi, Taylor, and me in front of the hospital on Connor's birthday! I was huge with child and barely able to walk:)

I tag the first four people on my blog list.

Things That Make Me Smile...

School is officially back in session. I enjoyed, more than words can say, the 6 glorious weeks of homework-free bliss. And come to find out it was only supposed to be 5 glorious weeks. Yes, that's right, I totally missed my first day of class. Apparently I didn't think it necessary to look at (even glance at) my class schedule. That would have been too easy:) Oh well...it was one less day of school for me!

Here are a couple of things that are making me smile lately. Nothing big, but they add a little zest to my life.

My cute and colorful monster key covers!

The cutie key covers and my new phone! It's no iPhone, but hey!

I took this picture with the new phone. I thought it was pretty good quality...surprisingly.

Inaugurations and Regrets...

With all of the excitement about the upcoming presidential inauguration, I can't help but think back to four years ago. It was the beginning of W's last term as president and I thought it would be cool to attend his swearing-in. I happened to know a girl who worked in Randy Neugebauer's office, and she ever so generously reserved tickets for us. CHAD AND I HAD TICKETS FOR THE INAUGURATION!!!! AHHHH!! I was sooo excited to go to D.C. for this once-in-a-lifetime event. I love that city...it's history and its sophisticated atmosphere.

As it turns out we didn't end up going. Chad was just starting his job at Evans and he felt like he shouldn't ask for time off so soon. I totally regret not making the trip. I could kick myself thinking about it right now. But it's neat knowing we could have been there.

It's amazing to me that four years have passed and it's that time again! I will be watching from my living room in good-ole Lubbock, Texas wishing I was there!

This is the letter I received informing us we had tickets.
